White Flags ratings for the fourth year

Traditionally, the White, Grey, and Black Lists of the Flag States approved by the Paris Memorandum of Understanding (the Paris Memorandum) are published in June each year. Returning to the prestigious and most honorable White Flag List in 2019, Lithuanian-flagged ships are firmly on the list for the fourth consecutive year.
The Paris Memorandum’s main objective is to prevent sub-standard ships from operating, and in some cases ban them from entering the region’s ports altogether. Ships flying the flag of a White List country are exempted from the detention bans in Paris MOU ports.
