Lithuanian ships will continue to be included in the White List of Flag States of the Paris Memorandum of Understanding (Paris MOU).

For the fifth year in a row, Lithuania has been included in the Paris Memorandum of Understanding’s (Paris MoU) most prestigious White List of Flag States, which demonstrates high international standards of safe shipping. This year, Lithuania moved up two positions to 22nd place, the highest-ever position on the White Flag State List. A total of 39 of the world’s strongest maritime nations will be flying the White Flag from 1 July.
Lithuania has overtaken its neighbors Estonia, Latvia, and Poland (35th, 37th, and 38th respectively), as well as countries such as Germany (34th), the USA (27th), and Ireland (24th).
From 2009 to 2013, Lithuania’s flag was on the White List, from 2014 to 2019 it was on the Grey List, and from 1 July 2019 it backed on the White List.
