Training for ERASMUS students
On Monday, May 20, 2024, the Lithuanian Maritime Academy kicked off two Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) events. These programs deepen students’ understanding of modern shipping and logistics trends. The first group comprises 14 students from „Mircea cel Batran” Naval Academy in Romania and the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
G.Kutka, executive director of the Lithuanian Shipowners Association was pleased to attend another BIP titled “Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities: The Guide to Modern Logistics”, which was held for shore-based logistics and management specialists. This program hosted 14 students from Riga Technical University Liepaja Maritime College in Latvia and the University of Management Personnel in Poland. G.Kutka pointed out that it was an honor to share global challenges affecting the shipping sector with students.
